From Andijan to the U.S. Market: Over 350 Professionals Working for Global Clients

More than 350 professionals in Marhamat District are now working with the U.S. market without leaving their home region. At the same time, IT service exports by IT Park members in the district reached $8.72 million in the second quarter of 2026. During his working visit to Andijan Region, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov reviewed the development of the IT and BPO industry in Marhamat.

The Minister visited Ershi Logistics Center, established by Ershi Logistics, a resident of IT Park. The center is one example of how the development of export-oriented IT and BPO services is creating new employment opportunities directly in the regions.

Today, more than 350 professionals work at Ershi Logistics Center, providing services to companies in the U.S. market. This enables local residents to work with international clients, earn competitive incomes, and build careers in the global industry while remaining in Marhamat.

This positive momentum is also reflected in export figures. In the second quarter of 2026, IT Park residents in Marhamat District exported $8.72 million worth of IT services, compared with $5.15 million during the same period in 2025, representing an increase of 69.2%. Today, 15 IT Park members operate in Marhamat District.

The experience of Marhamat demonstrates that access to global markets is becoming a real opportunity not only for the capital and major cities, but also for the regions. The development of IT and BPO services creates local jobs, engages young people in modern professions, and establishes new growth points for Uzbekistan’s IT exports.
