On July 14, IT Park Uzbekistan held a workshop titled "IT Park in Saudi Arabia" at IT Park's Tashkent Branch. The event brought together representatives of member
companies to discuss opportunities for entering the Saudi market through IT Park's GCC office in Riyadh.
The briefing became one of the largest information sessions organized for resident companies since the establishment of the Riyadh office, bringing together representatives of Uzbekistan's IT industry under one roof. The gathering served as an important platform for outlining the capabilities of the Riyadh office, establishing direct dialogue with member companies, and exploring pathways for entering the Saudi market.
Under Mohamed Eltayib, responsible for operations and strategic delivery, the Riyadh office has been actively supporting Uzbek startups and product companies in promoting their offerings to the Saudi market through marketing — a track record that underscores the office is not just a registered presence, but an operational one delivering results on the ground.
Muzaffar Karabaev, Resident Entrepreneur Advisor of IT Park Uzbekistan in the GCC, outlined the different ways resident companies can engage with the Riyadh office, ranging from short sales-visit trips to targeted outreach campaigns and using IT Park as a base in the Kingdom.
Abdurahman Karimberdiev, Chief Manager of Global Growth (Eastern Markets) at IT Park Uzbekistan, presented the support available through the Riyadh office, including a registered office and meeting space, an on-the-ground business development team, the option to contract through IT Park as a local reseller, and support for Saudi-focused marketing campaigns.
Key topics discussed during the briefing included pathways for member companies to enter the Saudi market, connecting companies with local partners and investors, the contracting process available through the Riyadh office, and IT Park Uzbekistan's planned participation in LEAP 2026, Saudi Arabia's flagship technology conference, taking place August 31 – September 3 in Riyadh.
The Saudi Arabia briefing marked another important step in implementing IT Park Uzbekistan's international expansion strategy. The event facilitated new connections between rmember companies and the Riyadh office, increased awareness of the support available for entering the Saudi market, and highlighted enterprise software, fintech, logistics, GIS/geospatial analytics, and AI-driven automation as the categories best positioned for Saudi demand. Overall, the session created additional opportunities for expanding exports and preparing IT Park members for LEAP 2026 and future GCC engagement.
