International companies continue to see Uzbekistan as a promising location for developing outsourcing and business service operations. In the framework of the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026), Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Emrah Dinç, Director of Operational Excellence at Trenkwalder Group. The meeting was also attended by representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Jahongir Kagirov, Director of Export Development.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects of launching Trenkwalder Group's BPO and back-office operations in Uzbekistan, as well as further steps for the project's implementation and opportunities for long-term cooperation in the Global Business Services (GBS) sector.

Founded in 1985, Trenkwalder Group is one of Europe's leading providers of HR services and business process outsourcing (BPO). The company operates in 16 European countries, has approximately 200 offices, employs over 20,000 people, and generates more than €700 million in annual revenue. Trenkwalder holds a leading position in the HR services markets of Austria and Hungary and is part of the international investment group Droege Group.

During the meeting, Trenkwalder Group representatives stated that they are considering Uzbekistan as a potential location for outsourcing, and back-office service centers focused on serving international clients. As a first step, the company is exploring the possibility of launching a team of 100 specialists, with prospects for further business expansion.

In turn, the IT Park Uzbekistan team presented the country's advantages for developing export-oriented service centers, including the availability of qualified personnel, government support measures, and the favorable conditions created for international companies. The parties paid special attention to organizing operational activities, scaling the BPO business, and the roadmap for the company's entry into the Uzbek market.

The potential launch of Trenkwalder Group's operations would be another step in attracting major international players in the global business services sector to Uzbekistan.
