Digital Uzbekistan Riyadh brought together 55+ representatives of Saudi Arabia’s technology business community

On June 16, Digital Uzbekistan Riyadh, organized by IT Park Uzbekistan, took place in Riyadh. The event brought together more than 55 representatives of technology companies, investment organizations, and business leaders from Saudi Arabia to discuss opportunities for cooperation in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and IT exports.

The event became IT Park Uzbekistan’s largest initiative in Saudi Arabia to date, uniting representatives of Uzbekistan’s IT industry, Saudi investors, and regional business partners. The forum served as an important platform for showcasing Uzbekistan’s export and investment potential, establishing direct business connections, and exploring opportunities for cooperation in technology and the digital economy.

The participants were welcomed by Nodirjon Turgunov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who emphasized the importance of strengthening technological cooperation between the two countries.

Muzaffar Karabayev, Official Representative of IT Park Uzbekistan in the Gulf countries, presented Uzbekistan as a promising destination for digital investment and innovation.

Abdurakhman Karimberdiyev, Global Business Development Manager at IT Park Uzbekistan, highlighted the achievements of the IT Park ecosystem, existing support measures, and the organization’s international ambitions.

Mohamed Eltaib, representative of GCC, a company collaborating with IT Park Uzbekistan, spoke about Uzbekistan’s technological potential and showcased solutions developed by IT Park member companies and promising Uzbek startups. Particular attention was given to the competitive advantages of local IT companies, their innovative products and services, and their potential integration into Saudi Arabia’s digital infrastructure. The speaker noted that many solutions developed by Uzbek companies are already prepared for international scaling and are well-positioned to address the needs of both businesses and government institutions across the Gulf region.

The strength of Uzbekistan's technology ecosystem was further demonstrated through presentations of solutions developed by eight Uzbek companies — Geomotive, Smartcast, TASS Vision, OX Systems, Business Robots AI, kpi.com, Delever, and Ziyoly. IT Park presented their products and services across artificial intelligence, business process automation, digital platforms, and other technology sectors, demonstrating the competitiveness of Uzbek innovations and their readiness for integration into the ecosystems of Saudi Arabia and other regional markets.

Key topics discussed during the event included attracting Saudi IT companies to establish and expand operations in Uzbekistan, increasing exports of Uzbek IT services to Gulf markets, engaging Saudi venture capital funds in financing technology projects and startups, fostering partnerships between Uzbek and regional companies, and strengthening Uzbekistan’s position as a digital hub for the MENA region.

The Digital Uzbekistan Riyadh event marked another important step in implementing IT Park Uzbekistan’s international expansion strategy. The forum facilitated new business connections, increased awareness of Uzbek technology companies in the Saudi market, and created additional opportunities for attracting investment, expanding exports, and supporting IT Park members in entering GCC markets.
