From Local Growth to Global Impact: IT Park Enhances Regional Team Capacities

IT Park Uzbekistan continues to invest in its most valuable asset — human capital. A recent series of intensive training sessions for regional project managers marked a significant milestone in the development of a unified and robust national IT ecosystem.

The program brought together managers from all regions of Uzbekistan, enabling them to enhance essential skills — from the attraction of international BPO companies and investors to the development of competitive unique value propositions (UVPs) tailored to their respective regions. Special emphasis was placed on the export of IT services, the implementation of Softlanding and Zero Risk programs, collaboration with IT Park Ventures, and the application of artificial intelligence for workflow automation.

The training initiative was entirely focused on the core mission of regional project managers — transforming their regions into attractive destinations for global BPO firms and investors while actively supporting local IT companies to enter international markets. A central component of the program was the development and promotion of each region’s UVP — a critical element in successfully competing for investment.    

To achieve these goals, participants were provided with a comprehensive toolkit. The program covered the full investment attraction cycle — from Marketing Foundations and Digital B2B Lead Generation, to applied modules such as Export Tools & BPO Attraction and Local2Global strategies. Participants also studied the implementation of Softlanding and Zero Risk programs for foreign investors, gained insights into the IT Park Ventures fund, and learned advanced methods of workflow automation using AI tools.

In parallel, the program included modules aimed at enhancing personal and team effectiveness. Sessions on time management, emotional intelligence, teamwork, and stress resilience were designed to cultivate leadership skills essential for navigating uncertainty.
