IT Park Uzbekistan and China Construction Bank Sign Term Sheet for Financing Regional IT Park Projects

As part of the official visit of the IT Park Uzbekistan delegation to Hong Kong and Shanghai, Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, held a series of meetings with representatives of leading Chinese financial and infrastructure organizations to discuss joint investment initiatives and the development of modern IT infrastructure in Uzbekistan. 

During the visit, a meeting was held with Wu Hao, head of the Global Financial Services Center at the Shanghai branch of China Construction Bank, to discuss the financing of infrastructure projects and the further development of cooperation. The delegation also met with Yu Yuanxing, Director of International Business at Shanghai Construction Group (SCG) to discuss the implementation of joint projects in the development of modern technology infrastructure. 

One of the key outcomes of the visit was the signing of a Term Sheet between IT Park Uzbekistan and China Construction Bank (CCB). The document was signed by Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, and Wu Hao, Head of the Shanghai Global Financial Services Center of China Construction Bank. 

The signed Term Sheet represents an important milestone toward arranging financing for the construction of regional IT Park Uzbekistan complexes, which will be implemented in cooperation with Shanghai Construction Group (SCG). 

The project envisions the development of modern IT Park Uzbekistan complexes across several regions of Uzbekistan. These facilities will serve as hubs for technology entrepreneurship, startup incubation, IT talent development, and provide modern infrastructure for both domestic and international technology companies.
