IT Park Uzbekistan and Tenity Explore Cooperation in Startup Development and International Expansion

During ICT WEEK Uzbekistan 2026, Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, met with Sabina Babayeva, Director of Tenity for Southern Europe and the MENA region. The parties discussed opportunities for cooperation in startup development, corporate innovation, and expanding international opportunities for technology companies from Uzbekistan. 

The discussion focused on potential areas of support for fintech and AI startups, including access to international markets, engagement with investors and corporate partners, as well as access to international expertise.

The parties also explored opportunities to connect Uzbek startups with Tenity’s global investment and institutional network, support their investment readiness, and facilitate connections with potential international partners.

Particular attention was given to further cooperation between startups from Uzbekistan and international financial and technology companies, as well as the exchange of expertise in corporate innovation and international scaling.

Tenity is a Swiss venture and innovation platform specializing in fintech, AI, and digital assets. The company supports early-stage startups and works with corporations and public-sector organizations through acceleration programs, startup scouting, open innovation, and other initiatives.

Tenity operates hubs in Zurich, Singapore, London, Madrid, Istanbul, and Hong Kong. According to the company, more than 1,600 startups have participated in its programs, its network includes over 65 institutional partners, and its investment portfolio comprises more than 200 companies.
