On October 9, 2026, the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce (CCI France Ouzbékistan), in cooperation with IT Park Uzbekistan, held a briefing titled “ICT Week Decoded.” The meeting provided an opportunity to review the outcomes of ICT Week Uzbekistan 2026, discuss prospects for Uzbek-French cooperation in information technology, and introduce French companies to the opportunities offered by IT Park Uzbekistan.

The event brought together representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, IT Park Uzbekistan, Enterprise Uzbekistan, and the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce, as well as French and local businesses. Participating organizations included Expertise France, Suez, Veolia, UzAssystem, Legrand SNC Uzbekistan, TS Team, Neoinsurance, CMWP, Women in Tech Uzbekistan, Parker Russell, Office Technologies, Bureau Veritas, AKFA Group, Novynex, Central Asia Engineering, Euro Gourmet, Shohruh, and Euromedex.
The briefing was opened by Jahongir Kagirov, Director of Export Development at IT Park Uzbekistan; Bokhodir Ayupov, VP of Global Business Development at Enterprise Uzbekistan; and Duncan Labadie, Executive Director of the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce. In their opening remarks, they emphasized the importance of strengthening Uzbek-French cooperation in information technology and innovation.

During the main session, representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Enterprise Uzbekistan outlined Uzbekistan’s progress in artificial intelligence, the implementation of the national AI strategy through 2030, support measures for foreign companies, the development of IT outsourcing, and the establishment of a special technology jurisdiction.
Particular attention was given to the legal framework for artificial intelligence and the development of an AI regulatory sandbox. Participants also attended a demonstration of Kotib AI solutions focused on speech recognition and the automation of customer interactions.

During the Q&A session, representatives of French businesses discussed the development of Uzbekistan’s IT ecosystem, the conditions for entering the local market, and potential areas for cooperation.
Alisher Khaitmetov, President of the French-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce, proposed that IT Park Uzbekistan and Enterprise Uzbekistan participate in the annual General Assembly of CCI France International, where member countries are represented by individual exhibition stands.
The briefing provided a platform for exchanging experience and exploring opportunities for cooperation between Uzbek and French companies in information technology and artificial intelligence. Participants learned more about the existing support measures for IT businesses in Uzbekistan and discussed prospects for developing joint projects.
