IT Park Uzbekistan hosted the Uzbekistan Digital Services Meetup 2026 in Chicago, bringing together representatives of IT companies, logistics businesses, and Uzbek professionals working in the U.S. technology sector. The event served as a platform to discuss the development of Uzbekistan’s digital economy, the country’s export potential, and opportunities to strengthen cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States.
As part of the visit, the IT Park Uzbekistan team met with representatives of the Uzbek American Association of Chicago (UAAC) to discuss strengthening cooperation with the Uzbek diaspora, engaging its expertise in the development of Uzbekistan’s digital economy, and exploring joint initiatives. UAAC also provided valuable support in organizing the Uzbekistan Digital Services Meetup 2026, contributing to the successful hosting of the event.
The event opened with welcoming remarks from Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, who presented an overview of Uzbekistan’s digital transformation, the key achievements of the national IT ecosystem, and the opportunities being created for international companies, investors, and entrepreneurs. Particular attention was given to government support measures for the IT industry, the development of export-oriented services, and the favorable business environment being established in the country.

One of the central highlights of the program was the panel discussion “From Traditional Trucking to Smart Logistics Businesses,” featuring representatives of Sultan Trans Inc, Reliable ELD, Datatruck, and IT Park Uzbekistan. The speakers discussed the digitalization of the logistics sector, the growing role of technology in freight transportation, the impact of artificial intelligence and innovation on industry transformation, and the new opportunities emerging for businesses in Uzbekistan.

The panel also explored investment attraction, startup development, and strategies for expanding technology solutions into international markets.
An important part of the program was dedicated to meetings with members of the Uzbek diaspora and representatives of the U.S. business community. Participants discussed opportunities for launching joint projects, expanding outsourcing cooperation, and bringing international expertise to support the further development of Uzbekistan’s technology sector.

In addition, attendees were introduced to the Bonus System and Uzbekistan Connect initiatives, which are designed to foster international cooperation, attract foreign companies, and strengthen the country’s export potential.

The networking session provided participants with an opportunity to establish new professional connections, exchange experiences, and explore promising areas of cooperation between companies from Uzbekistan and the United States.
