IT Park Uzbekistan ekotizimida davlat tili va raqamli madaniyat

The Uzbek language, a priceless expression of our nation's centuries-old cultural heritage, intellectual achievements, and traditions of scientific, educational, and literary thought, stands among the world's oldest and richest languages.

October 21, 1989, marked a historic milestone for the people of Uzbekistan. On that day, the Law "On the State Language" was adopted, fulfilling an aspiration that generations of our people had pursued for many years. This landmark decision represented one of the first decisive steps toward the country's sovereignty and independence. The law established a solid legal foundation for the Uzbek language and formally secured its status as the state language.

Following independence, Uzbek became firmly established as the state language, serving as a powerful unifying force and inspiring the nation to pursue ambitious goals and build a free and prosperous society. Today, guided by the principle "From National Revival to National Progress," Uzbekistan is advancing toward a new and higher stage of development.

As the country undergoes wide-ranging reforms, the role and importance of the state language continue to grow. Uzbek is actively used across political, legal, socioeconomic, cultural, and educational spheres, while its presence on international platforms is becoming increasingly prominent.

In an era of globalization, preserving cultural heritage, safeguarding traditional values, and promoting the native language are essential priorities for every nation and sovereign state. To significantly strengthen the status and prestige of Uzbek in public life and internationally, while fostering patriotism and respect for national traditions and values among younger generations, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan issued Decree No. PF-5850, "On Measures to Fundamentally Enhance the Status and Prestige of the Uzbek Language as the State Language," on October 21, 2019.

In implementing this Decree and demonstrating a strong commitment to national identity and cultural values, the Directorate of the Technological Park of Software Products and Information Technologies LLC (IT Park) places particular emphasis on strengthening the culture of official documentation in the state language and improving employees' written language proficiency.

Today, IT Park is home to one of the country's youngest, most dynamic, and forward-looking teams, making a significant contribution to Uzbekistan's development. The organization's activities are expanding rapidly across domestic and international markets. This progress is driven by talented, energetic, and experienced IT professionals who communicate fluently in several foreign languages and play an important role in strengthening international relations and partnerships. Their dedication and professional achievements deserve sincere recognition.

It is particularly encouraging that young professionals with strong intellectual capabilities not only communicate confidently with international partners in foreign languages but also demonstrate deep appreciation for the richness and beauty of their native language, using it professionally in their daily work. Their ability to work and create in Uzbek while developing the technologies of tomorrow reflects the distinctive professional culture of IT Park and represents a meaningful expression of national pride in the digital world.

Importantly, efforts to strengthen the status of the state language extend beyond internal administrative processes. Amid rapid digital transformation, the IT Park Directorate serves as a strategic coordination center, helping preserve the richness and expressiveness of Uzbek while supporting its integration into modern technological environments.

With the IT Park team's continuous organizational and practical support, 18 innovative member companies are currently operating within the ecosystem, implementing major initiatives to integrate Uzbek into the digital environment and develop artificial intelligence and other advanced technological solutions. These efforts are laying a strong foundation for preserving and advancing the language within global technology networks and creating a lasting digital legacy for future generations.

In particular, collaboration between IT Park and its member companies in the digitalization of the state language is already delivering meaningful results. Intelligent voice assistants and modern chatbots capable of recognizing spoken Uzbek and interacting with users in their native language are being developed. Digital tools for real-time spelling, grammar, and punctuation checks are also advancing, alongside professional automated translation systems that facilitate communication across languages.

Equally important, these initiatives extend beyond official communication to support the education and cultural development of younger generations. Interactive learning platforms designed for children, together with musical animated series inspired by Uzbek folklore, help foster an appreciation for the native language, strengthen cultural identity, and preserve national traditions.

Multilingualism is one of our greatest assets, a gateway to the world, and a major competitive advantage in the global marketplace. Yet the Uzbek language remains an essential part of our identity, our cultural heritage, and our national spirit. As creators of future technologies, the IT Park team and its member companies will continue setting an example in the digitalization of the state language, the promotion of written language proficiency, and the preservation of linguistic values.

We take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt congratulations to our colleagues and fellow citizens on the upcoming Uzbek Language Day, celebrated on October 21! May those who embrace the languages of the world while preserving their national identity and cultural roots continue to achieve new milestones and success.
