IT Park Uzbekistan participated in FLY ASIA 2026, an international exhibition held in Busan, Republic of Korea. During the event, a series of meetings took place with representatives of international venture capital funds, accelerators, government organizations, and technology companies, focusing on attracting investment to Uzbek startups and expanding their presence in foreign markets.
Throughout the exhibition, IT Park Uzbekistan held negotiations with representatives of more than 30 leading South Korean IT companies and venture organizations, as well as numerous international organizations. Discussions focused on strengthening investment cooperation, supporting technology projects, and creating new opportunities for Uzbek startups to enter international markets.
One of the key outcomes was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Busan Startup Investment Agency (BSIA). The agreement aims to strengthen cooperation between the startup ecosystems of Uzbekistan and South Korea while expanding opportunities for collaboration between technology companies from both countries.
Another highlight was the participation of Datagaze, a member of IT Park Uzbekistan, in the FLY ASIA Awards competition. The startup presented its technology solution to international investors during an investment pitching session (IR Pitching), gaining an opportunity to demonstrate the potential of its product and establish connections with representatives of the venture capital community.
As part of the business program, IT Park Uzbekistan held a series of meetings with investment funds and organizations specializing in startup development and international expansion.
In particular, discussions with Series Ventures and Headline Asia focused on opportunities to attract venture capital to Uzbek technology projects and establish direct connections between local startups and international investors.
During a meeting with Indogen Capital, the parties explored opportunities to support Uzbek companies and startups entering the Indonesian market, including practical assistance and business networking.
An agreement was reached with BCCEI to launch reciprocal Soft Landing programs aimed at supporting startups entering new markets and adapting to local business environments.
Separate negotiations were also held with representatives of T-Hub, Startup Island, Turning Point MEA, and InnoEx. The discussions explored opportunities to expand the presence of Uzbek startups in India, Taiwan, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia, including the development of partnerships and cooperation with regional technology ecosystems.
In addition, opportunities to leverage the SkalePLUS platform and its partner network for the distribution of Uzbek IT products in South Korea were explored. This could provide an additional channel for promoting Uzbek technology solutions in the Korean market.
IT Park Uzbekistan representatives also held meetings with the Fairfax County Economic Development Authority (USA), representatives of Ehime Prefecture (Japan), InnoQuest (Thailand), and IT Park Mongolia.
Additional negotiations took place with South Korean companies Mbas, Asak Korea, and C&M PLUS, focusing on opportunities to strengthen business connections and develop technological cooperation.
