As part of the Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF) 2026, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by CEO Azamat Karamatov, held a meeting with representatives of the international game development studio Battlestate Games. The Battlestate Games delegation was led by Olga Krog, Head of Battlestate Games Limited’s office in the United Arab Emirates. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of establishing a new operational location for the company in Uzbekistan, as well as the advantages of the IT Park ecosystem for supporting international GameDev businesses.

Battlestate Games is an international studio specializing in video game development and is recognized as one of the global leaders in the tactical shooter genre. Founded in 2012, the company currently employs more than 500 people and operates six offices across different countries. Its headquarters are located in London, United Kingdom. Battlestate Games generates approximately $68 million in annual revenue. In June 2026, the studio released a major update and a new version of its flagship project, Escape from Tarkov. The update attracted significant attention from the global gaming community.
During the meeting, Battlestate Games representatives were introduced to the business environment in Uzbekistan and the opportunities offered by the IT Park ecosystem for international IT companies. The parties were presented with comprehensive support measures based on a “one-stop-shop” approach, including organizational, infrastructure, and consulting assistance. They were also informed about available office and housing solutions designed to facilitate employee relocation and support the expansion of the company’s regional presence.

Particular attention was given to support programs developed for international businesses, including the Zero Risk and IT Visa initiatives, as well as measures aimed at simplifying companies’ entry into the Uzbek market. Battlestate Games representatives were also introduced to the tax incentives available to IT Park residents. These include exemptions from corporate income tax and VAT, a preferential personal income tax rate, and other instruments designed to optimize operational costs and support companies’ global activities.

Cooperation with Battlestate Games will enable IT Park Uzbekistan to further strengthen the country’s position as a promising hub for international GameDev companies, attract additional investment into the digital economy, and create new opportunities for the development of local talent and the gaming industry as a whole.
