BROOQ First Considers Opening an Office in Uzbekistan with the Support of IT Park Uzbekistan

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Director of Resident Services Lazizbek Khudayev, met with a delegation from the Qatari fintech company BROOQ First, headed by CEO Balakandran Ulaganthan and COO Senura Perera. The meeting focused on the company's plans to enter the Uzbek market and obtain IT Park residency status.

BROOQ First is a Qatar-based fintech company developing next-generation payment infrastructure. The company creates technology solutions that enable banks, financial regulators, fintech companies, and merchants to deliver secure and efficient payment services. Unlike digital banks or e-wallet providers, BROOQ First specializes in building the underlying infrastructure that powers the financial ecosystem.

During the meeting, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan presented the Zero Risk and Softlanding programs, which help international IT companies establish and grow their businesses in Uzbekistan by providing comprehensive support throughout the market entry process. Particular attention was given to the opportunities these programs offer foreign investors and technology companies. In turn, representatives of BROOQ First shared that the company is considering opening an office in Uzbekistan focused on the development of technology solutions.
