On July 17, 2026, representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan participated in the Central Asia–China AI & Innovation Bridge forum in Shanghai, jointly organized by Khan Tengri Innovation Hub, Central Asian Innovation Hubs, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Astana Hub.

The event brought together Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, representatives of government agencies from Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan, as well as executives from leading Chinese technology companies and venture capital funds.
The Central Asia–China AI & Innovation Bridge is an international platform designed to foster collaboration between Central Asia and China in artificial intelligence, innovation, startups, and venture capital. The forum brings together government institutions, technology companies, innovation hubs, and investment funds to launch joint initiatives and strengthen international technology partnerships.

Opening the forum, Azamat Karamatov, CEO of IT Park Uzbekistan, Magzhan Madiyev, CEO of Astana Hub, and Lazzat Borankulov, Head of Khan Tengri Innovation Hub, emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation between Central Asia and China in artificial intelligence, innovation, startup development, and venture investment.
As part of the business agenda, the Business Development Director at Alibaba Cloud presented the company's cloud computing and AI capabilities, highlighting opportunities for commercializing AI products and scaling them to international markets. Representatives of Gestala, Gobi Partners, GSR Ventures, Ravine Capital, and Astana Hub Ventures also shared insights on startup investment readiness, collaboration with global investors, and the development of a responsible AI ecosystem.

Special attention was given to strengthening cooperation with Khan Tengri Innovation Hub. The parties discussed new approaches to supporting Uzbek startups by providing access to China's advanced technologies, expertise, and innovation resources, while also creating opportunities for their integration into China's innovation ecosystem.
The discussions also covered the organization of joint business missions, investment events, and collaborative programs aimed at fostering technology entrepreneurship. In addition, the participants explored opportunities to position Uzbekistan as a strategic gateway for Chinese technology companies expanding into Central Asia and the broader Eurasian region, strengthening connections between startups, investors, and key players across both innovation ecosystems.

During the forum, OX Group presented AI-powered solutions for business process automation designed to ensure that human oversight remains an integral part of decision-making. Participants discussed the potential application of these technologies across various industries, as well as opportunities for their international deployment and commercialization.
IT Park Uzbekistan's participation in the forum marked another important step in expanding cooperation with China's innovation ecosystem. The agreements reached during the event lay the foundation for launching joint projects, facilitating technology and knowledge exchange, strengthening partnerships between technology companies from both countries, and further positioning Uzbekistan as a regional hub for innovation and digital entrepreneurship.
