Emapta Considers Uzbekistan as a New Hub for Developing Global Outsourcing Operations

Uzbekistan continues to attract international companies expanding their global network of outsourcing centers. As part of the Global Business Services Forum 2026 (GBSF 2026), Sherzod Shermatov, the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Roy Figueroa, Chief Performance Officer of Emapta Global.

In recent years, Emapta has been actively expanding its geographic presence, moving beyond the Philippines to open new operational sites in Latin America and Europe. The company is now considering Uzbekistan as a potential location for the further expansion of its global network of service centers, evaluating the country's talent pool, the competitiveness of its business environment, and the potential for building a team to serve international clients.

Founded in 2010, Emapta is one of the largest international companies in outsourcing, Employer of Record (EOR), and distributed team management. The company serves over 1,000 clients in more than 30 countries, providing services in software development, technical support, finance, accounting, customer service, HR, marketing, healthcare, and legal support. Today, Emapta employs over 10,000 specialists and continues to expand its international network of service delivery centers.

During the meeting, representatives from IT Park Uzbekistan presented the country's advantages for hosting outsourcing operations, including its skilled talent pool, competitive cost of doing business, government support measures, and tax incentives for international companies. They also discussed the prospects of establishing an Emapta service center in Uzbekistan, pilot launch models, cooperation with universities, and joint specialist training programs.

Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue developing a cooperation roadmap, which includes organizing subsequent working meetings, exploring potential sites for launching operations, and discussing the possible signing of a memorandum of cooperation. Emapta's potential entry into the market would be another step in strengthening Uzbekistan's position as one of the region's most promising hubs for global business services and outsourcing.
