Representatives of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan, led by First Deputy Minister of Digital Technologies Ayubkhon Sultanov, together with representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan headed by Deputy Director General for Resident Relations Lazizbek Khudayev, held a meeting with executives of IT Park Uzbekistan resident companies.
The event was organized as part of preparations for the sixth meeting between the Head of State and entrepreneurs. The main objective of the meeting was to discuss current issues and initiatives aimed at further developing the IT sector and improving the business environment.

During the open dialogue, participants reviewed business needs and expectations related to the launch of the Enterprise Uzbekistan program. They also discussed ways to improve the IT Visa application process for foreign specialists, including simplifying the procedures for obtaining an IT Card and extending its validity period.
Particular attention was given to supporting resident companies operating in the regions. Company representatives proposed expanding the scope of the Zero Risk program by including expenses for online training delivered by international mentors, as well as costs associated with domestic educational courses.
The participants also discussed the prospects of implementing the GPU Cluster project and establishing electronic board manufacturing in Uzbekistan under Presidential Resolution No. PQ-189. These initiatives are expected to reduce dependence on imports and lower operational costs for businesses.

In addition, company representatives raised several issues related to the development of digital infrastructure. Discussions focused on improving the resilience of data storage systems, expanding access to foreign platforms and data centers, and enabling startups to utilize computing resources and financial instruments provided by international data center operators.
Following the meeting, the proposals put forward by participants will be further elaborated and considered for inclusion in the package of initiatives to be presented during the upcoming dialogue between the Head of State and entrepreneurs.
Such meetings enable IT Park Uzbekistan to maintain direct engagement with resident companies, promptly identify the evolving needs of businesses, and develop proposals aimed at strengthening the IT industry. This format of dialogue contributes to the improvement of support mechanisms, the enhancement of the business climate, and the increased competitiveness of the country's technology sector.
