IT Park Uzbekistan and Singapore Discuss Expanding IT Cooperation

Representatives of IT Park Uzbekistan, led by Director of Strategic Development Makhliyo Muksinova, held a meeting with a Singaporean delegation headed by Kevin Cheok, Deputy Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. The parties discussed prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation.

As part of the visit, the delegation familiarized itself with the activities of the Ministry of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan and the organization Uzinfocom. The guests were introduced to the key areas of work and the conditions created to support the development of the country’s IT sector.

The delegation also explored the opportunities offered by IT Park Uzbekistan, including support measures for foreign companies, the “Zero Risk” program, and the initiative of the International Digital Technology Center “Enterprise Uzbekistan.” 

Kevin Cheok highlighted the rapid pace of reforms in Uzbekistan and positively assessed the progress achieved by IT Park Uzbekistan. During the meeting, the parties also discussed IT talent development and ways to increase interest in the technology sector.

Makhliyo Muksinova emphasized that IT Park is actively working to attract foreign companies and support local startups in entering international markets.

Following the meeting, both sides expressed interest in further strengthening cooperation.

Collaboration with Singapore is expected to help IT Park Uzbekistan expand its international engagement, attract new companies, and increase IT service exports. It will also create additional opportunities for knowledge exchange, joint initiatives, and further strengthening Uzbekistan’s position in the global IT market.
